Wedding Rental Package for First Point Venue

Your wedding is more than a single day—it’s a reflection of who you are and what you value. By choosing to celebrate at First Point your love story becomes part of something bigger than yourselves.


A socially responsible wedding allows couples to align their commitment to each other with their commitment to making a positive impact in the world. Every event held at our venue directly supports the seniors in our province, transforming your celebration into a powerful act of giving. Our venue offers a setting filled with purpose, authenticity, and heart. Instead of a traditional commercial space, our venue reflects your care for social responsibility, ethical choices, and a desire for deeper community connection. 


At First Point celebrate love in its truest form: love for each other, love for community, and love for positive change. It’s a joyful way to say “I do” while giving back—and that makes your wedding day even more unforgettable.


Venue Features

  • Charming indoor space accommodating up to 130 seated guests
  • Beautiful downtown St. John's location 
  • Wheelchair-accessible facilities
  • Space for dining and dancing
  • BYOB and outside food and catering welcomed

 Rental Time

  • Full-day events from  12pm to 2 am
  • Setup and breakdown time included (timeframe based on availability) 


Pricing

  • Weekday Events: $800
  • Friday-Saturday Weddings: $1,000
  • Add on a Bridal Shower- 4 hours- $250

Amenities Included

  • Set up and tear down 
  • Rectangle tables and chairs for guests (with white tablecloths)
  • Projection screen for slideshows and sound system
  • Wifi
  • Access to kitchen prep area for catering services


Additional Services (Add-Ons)

  • Ceremony/Reception Turnover: $200 (hold both at First Point and require us to rearrange tables and chairs in between)
  • Chair Covers: $4 per chair
  • Chair Sashes: $2 per sash (Gold or Lilac available) 
  • Satin Table Runners: $3 each (Gold, Kelly Green, and Red Available)
  • White Linen Napkins: .50
  • Round Tables: Rented through our partner
  • BYOB insurance: $150 


Booking Information

  • 50 percent deposit required to secure date ( Full amount required for high demand dates such as Valentine's Day & NYE)
  • Cancellation policy and terms outlined in the contract
